'59 Cadillac tail lights?

so, i figured i would share a few pics from my latest project. I started frenching in some 1959 cadillac rocket tail lights. Not sure why, just paid it off, guess i figured i've pretty much thrashed every part of my ride except for the body. Still in progress so dont be too harsh, and i know it isn't in most peoples tastes, but i like it.

cut out the old lights, and welded in some sheetmetal ( oh yeah... i can't weld )

Light buckets welded in. you can see my custom clear corners too

Almost done, just a final coat of bondo... then paint

I have always liked '59 Caddy taillights, good for many uses, Harleys etc.... Yours Look Good..

If I were doing this, I would have used the upper former locations, & fixed the dented fender.. but that's just me..

-Hillsdale- uh... not really. i do got light up license plate bolts to function as reverse lights, but never wired em up. i just try not to park where i'm gonna have to reverse.
-sleeper- yeah, i wanted to change the whole setup for a little originality, but after it was welded in, i kinda wished i had used the old locations. the dents are gonna be a later project, and i do got allot of em.

How about two on each side on a slight angle? That would also show more of the lense on the side of the top lite.
