GMPP Catback from Cobalt not perfect fit
I recently installed a GMPP (touring) catback from a Cobalt, the catback will require some cutting and welding because of the location of the HHR gas tank.
The sound is just what I wanted, not to loud but louder than the stock exhaust.
I did not see much of a change on the gas consumption, it`s winter, I should see a difference during the summer driving.
Hope this info will help those who were thinking of getting their exhaust system replaced.
This white 2009 Panel is becoming the Panel that I enjoy driving every day.
(sound, extra ponies and it`s look)

Wait.... so you got a GMPP exhaust for a Cobalt and installed it in your HHR?? Why not just buy the GMPP exhaust that's made for the HHR?! You could have saved yourself the hassle of cutting up the Cobalt exhauast with a direct fit HHR exhaust.

Umm, because they dont make one for the 2.2/2.4?

Really? I swear that when I looked through the GM parts catalog at the dealer, they have a catback listed for the 2.2/2.4 HHR (maybe Chevymgr can say??). There's also a vid on Youtube of someone w/ the GMPP catback on the HHR. Ah well, guess I could be mistaken. Either way, to the OP, it's installed, so go and enjoy it!

EDIT: I found the exhaust I believe the OP has installed due to his referencing the "Touring" version. No wonder he had to cut it up some to fit, it's designed for the non-LNF Cobalt (i.e. LSJ) . Anyhoo, looks like a nice piece though. http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...1-P1379C0.aspx
