Does that mean rear discs are an option on 08's? If so, I didn't know about it when I ordered mine.

Me neither. Pretty pissed about that.

When I was pricing it out at the dealer, I would have noticed that as an option, but it wasn't on offer.

Even on the "Build and Price" on chevy.com it isn't offered. Oh well, I guess I'm leasing so it doesn't matter a whole heap, but it would have been one of the options I would have taken if it were there.

I wouldn't believe things have changed that much..
One you will need modified adapter plates made to mount to your existing
vehicle... ( That's what I have on my '06) plus new emergency brake cables, calipers & rotors, attachments and possible different brake fluid lines...

Second or get a rear end as an '08 plus the calipers , attachments, brake lines, emergency brake lines etc...

or third - get these to fit..

or fourth -- wait for the outcome of this project
https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/general-hhr-4/building-my-version-ss-panel-10655/

may be very interesting...

Remember, all codes will not be available with all models. I bet the SS will be the only one with rear disks.
