Ok. So what is ESC OFF mode. My seat of the pants accelerometer tells me that my 5 speed with GM upgrade ain't what it ought to be. I understand that boost pressure is dependent upon inlet atmospheric conditions and how well the air moves through the entire induction/exhaust systems to name a few. I think the biggest controller of boost is the ECU control of the waste gate/bypass valve (whatever) to limit torque. I only picked up a few psig of boost with the upgrade. The most boost I see is 18 psig. I did try holding in the TC button for 10 sec and ESC OFF showed on the display. I rolled into the throttle and boost went to 20 psig. The most I have seen. I wasn't in an area were I could really test anything so I couldn't say the car felt any quicker.

Then you need to find a "test" area and try the different settings and you will see/feel the differences..we all see 24 or so boost under ideal conditions....fuel has a lot to do with this too...you umm are using premium right? And its not from some cheap mom and pops store with some strange gas name.....also you need to be in the upper gears (3rd for example) before the big numbers come in.....1st and 2nd really don't "see" the loads the other gears do...
