Cat-Back Magnaflow

Has anyone installed the Cat-back exhaust offered by magnaflow? How does it sound? Is it a big difference from the stock exhaust system?

I had two magnaflows added as custom duals. In talking to the Rod Shop that installed them, we went over the sound and what I wanted, which was more of a deep thick rumble rather than a rasp. He suggusted I leave the stock resonator in and if I wanted more he would later change the resonator out.

After hearing the sound I'll stand where it is. The sound now comes out the back and you can hear it from inside the car but once again it is from the rear of the car.

Unless you need 3" of exhaust and want more noise I would stick with mufflers, and the stock cat.

That dual exhaust looks good there Jeramie! To the OP: if you want a loud(er) exhaust then yes the Magnaflow's the one that'll get everyone's attention as you drive by. If you don't want an oppressive or really loud exhaust, give the Hahn system a try; I have it in mine and love it BECAUSE it's not super loud. Yes it's expensive, but it doesn't scream for attention, and doesn't get "loud" unless I step on it. Check my gallery for a vid of how it sounds.

IMO it is a good sounding exhaust. If anyone wants one, we carry them, and if you would find it lower, send us a PM so we can look into price matching for you.

Yeah i want this thing to be loud, but i also want it to be street legal. What all did you have to do to get the dual exhaust on there Jeramie?

Catless downpipe and muffler delete or straight through muffler is the best sounding exhaust I've heard for LNF's.

Also, your statement is an oxymoron.
