There isn't a clutch made that can't be broken, burned, blown, or otherwise turned into a stinky old tennis shoe. HP numbers are eye candy. I could burn up a "750 HP" clutch with a 2L KIA motor just by being an idiot.

Last time I had the GTO at the track, I logged 5000 RPM @ 8 MPH in the burnout box. You could smell that clutch from Pennsylvania. Drag radials will do that.

An old timer in the clutch business once said "If people aren't having any issues with your clutches, you're not selling any clutches."

totally false sir lol. my stock slips like an old man in the tub!!! i have been driving sticks for 15years,so i know it's not my driving. i ordered the st3 last week from spec. just have to wait till the end of the month to get it installed.

That was just the burnout. There wasn't quite as much slippage on the actual launch, but the ET still sucked pretty bad. I think I was low 15 at about 108 if I recall correctly. By the time I made it back to the pits, people were holding their noses and pointing at me. I was lucky to be able to drive her home after the clutch cooled down.

You better take your own camera Mightymouse he doesn't have a digital camera....I took the pics myself with my camera.
