Nice, that's some serious time and effort to make a very professional-looking custom exhaust. I can only dream of having the time, expertise, and money to try something like this. One day...
The man brings up a good point...... Now that the "prototype" is finished, what would it, ahh, be worth to fab a couple more?
Unfortunately, it just wouldn't be practical to try to market. Aside from the expensive materials cost and heavy labor, it requires the user to cut the rocker covers, and then do something with the gaping hole in the rear bumper. It's just not "bolt on" enough for the masses.

Hitting? I don't understand. The tips are rigid mounted to the chassis, so there is absolutely zero movement there (the further up you go on the exhaust, the more flexible the mounts are... culimnating at the braided flex fitting at the top of the downpipe).
The tips are "air vented" in that they are open in the back. This allows fresh air to flow into them along with the exhaust, thus keeping the tips very cool. This was so I could minimize the gap between the tip and the rocker cover to the point that they are nearly touching one another.
Tanks for the info, and for what it worth... a custom fab like that would be worth the coin for a couple of one-offs. Thanks again its guys like you that make our cars so much fun
