Well, when I used the dejon spring, it threw that code but only happens when air is not dense(humid/hot conditions). The dejon spring also caused excessive turbo "flutter" in theses conditions. I think joe is on the right path here. Lube that biotch. It seems the valve is not opening fast enough.

Yes it needs lube! I just made a thread on this. My car kept throwing a p2261, took the forge out and completely apart and the grease was black and clumpy. I cleaned the whole thing and regreased with mobil 1 synthetic red grease. Its not the spring causing the cel I had both springs and kept throwing the CEL, then after reading threads on CSS.net others have said it gets stuck when it needs regreased.

when i get the green spring & change it out, i will look at greasing it, but i've only had it installed for 3 months & it popped the p2261 code from day 1.

Thumbs down

well, so much for "great customer service". what a bunch of *******s. called forge a couple weeks ago & told them ever since i installed their valve, i get a check engine light daily. the 1st guy said no problem, i'll send you a green spring. 1 week later, call them again & get another guy, who says the 1st guy isn't in & there's no record of them sending anything to me. the 2nd guys says he'll send me a green spring. another week goes by & no spring at all. so calling out for SS FAN, if your offer still stands, i can use that green spring!

Dude, grease it. The longer you wait, the bigger chance you have of damaging your turbo.
