I too just ordered my kit

So now oh learned ones, what do I watch for(and ask for)I've read about soldering the wires,but not much else.I'm in CA. so GOD help me or you.

Tell them not to use the connectors and do solder the wires together. Have them test the voltage to the MAP sensors after the solder to make sure it is proper.

Yeah, the connectors that come with the kit are used in life safety apps to repair airbag deployment systems, so they may fail when used for TMAP sensors, which is obviously more important to us. Gotta wonder why they don't solder wiring for the airbags as well? Maybe some dealers don't have the torch for the connectors and simply crimp them the old fashioned way?

Is it the connector that fails or improper crimping tool or method.
