I too am in the area and would like to hear how the local installs go. This upgrade is something that I really want to get as well but I may have to wait a month or two. By then we should have a good idea what dealers know how to install the kit. Maybe the roads will be a bit better too.

I certainly am willing to drive to MI (from NW Ohio) for an experienced dealer install. No surprizes would be best for everyone, the dealer and the owner.

Cool, I be waiting to see how it goes, I have 2 installs, me and my neighbor.

I took my SS in (Wally Edgar) for a bad TPMS sensor yesterday. I asked my service writer what it would cost to get the stage kit installed. He told me he would check and let me know. He did say they did a few stage kits for the Cobalt SS LNF cars.

He told me their parts people could not find the stage kit for the HHR SS in their parts system, just the one for the Cobalt SS. He looked it up on the internet and took the numbers back to parts who still could not find it. I didn't get a price for the kit or the install.

Anyone know if I could get away with installing the stage kit at home and then making a 15 mile drive to the dealer for a flash?

Well, The dealer called and said the car is done. I was told it took 3 hours. I asked what the road blocks were and they told there wern't any. I was told that one of the sensors can only be reached from underneath and that was the most time consuming. SO, they said they will do them for 200.00 ea. out the door. So you guys can make your decision from there. GL Guys!
