I'm thinking that at that HP spooling has to be at 4-5k? Too high for me to wait for power. All the cobalt owners I know with that kind of power will only pour it on at a forty roll or higher. No dig racing there, as most have too much for the half shafts to hold.
A better picture is a must so we can see that boost curve. Can't wait for more info. I am super excited to finally see some big turbos showing up on Hhr

With that kind of torque[H.P. ain't what turns the wheels], it's gonna be hard to put it to the ground, on street tires. I'm about 325 Torque, with a sticky 255/18 Hamkook tire, and I have a problem putting it down, at times. Over 400 H.P., gonna be a problem from the hit. I think parts be flying soon. Keep us posted. I'm with ya Moon for the types of events you and I enter that much HP is useless to me unless I can utilize it from a dig. for my amateur drag racing bracket 400HP is more than enough to play with the bigger boys and not worry too much about spitting parts everywhere. My buddy Richard is shooting for just over 600HP in his cobalt, after just building it to 525HP(100% full methanol and fully built) but a moped could beat him in the 1/8 mile. He can't pour the power down till at least 40mph. Don't get me wrong from 40-160 is a snap of the fingers but again his car is built for high HP and top end power and speed, me I prefer a well balanced car that performs well or acceptable at all levels. It won't out corner a mini, and won't outrun a viper. But if I can get the car comfortably between the two. Well I'm happy. Until fully built I think the 20g is about all I'm willing to take a chance on.
