Over $100 because people don't know how to properly crimp or. solder. LMFAO. I've done over 20 upgrades. Never had a wiring issue.

Knocks on wood as mine has been fine. I would still rather have had the plug and play though.

Why should this have been standard? So there is an extra connector to fail to develop corrosion in? So there are more terminals to wear out? So there is yet another mode of failure for the circuit? A properly crimped or soldered joint will have less resistance than a jumper harness will. And as far as I know that isn't a GM harness....I think its something CED developed and had made, so while its possible its made carefully by a wiring pro, its just as likely that its substandard far east crap.

It's a great idea. I would've paid the extra money. Cutting up a wiring harness to install an upgrade?

I'm not too sure it will stop the bottom one from rubbing that takes a different fix. What the Goodwrench boy's did is still working on mine I was under there yesterday and the wiring still looking pristine ..
