Plug and Play GMTU!
I was just on Crate Engine Depot's site looking around and noticed this:

Why should this have been standard? So there is an extra connector to fail to develop corrosion in? So there are more terminals to wear out? So there is yet another mode of failure for the circuit? A properly crimped or soldered joint will have less resistance than a jumper harness will. And as far as I know that isn't a GM harness....I think its something CED developed and had made, so while its possible its made carefully by a wiring pro, its just as likely that its substandard far east crap.

I'm not too sure it will stop the bottom one from rubbing that takes a different fix. What the Goodwrench boy's did is still working on mine I was under there yesterday and the wiring still looking pristine ..
