Stock and tune only '09 auto dynos

So out of curiosity I put my '09 SS auto on the dyno, it only had about 1,000 miles. This is stock vs. my custom tune, still on a 2.5 bar map setup, on an inertia dyno with no fan. Just thought I'd share the info, not sure how many autos get dyno'd on here

I couldn't lock it in gear with the beta software I used, so it shifted. This basically means you have to look at the lines instead of going by the posted numbers, but roughly 180 stock and 240 tuned. I think a fan would have helped since this thing heats the air so bad, but all in all not bad for the lil' guy.

Meant to add, although there isn't a true RPM base, where the lines cross is 5,252 RPM, stock shifted at stock 6,150, and tuned I set it at 7,000 just to see where power fell off at on the dyno. You can also see the boost cut right before it shifts.

Are you experimenting? The stock HP for the SS is 249 or close to that.
A Trifecta Performance Tune can put you at 310 HP+ on your SS.
Cost for a Select-A-Tune: $310.00 with my Loaner cable program.

You can check my gallery for my dyno run numbers, I THINK I put the vids on here too. But '09 SS with just the Hahn DP and exhaust I put down 259.6? hp and 250.8 lbs/tq on a mustang dyno w/ a huge fan. I haven't dynoed it since I added the K&N filter and Hahn intercooler, but I'm planning on getting it tuned before getting back on the dyno.

Later
Allex

That is a bone stock HHR SS with no mods.
Maybe we can convince Rainman to post up his dyno charts or I can request them from Vince when he is done next week. This will show us to the wheels. Rainman does have some mods done to his HHR ans lives close to Vince.

I just got back from the install, for some reason I'm having issue up loading the picture of the dyno, give me a day.
But just to update the old numbers with the GM upgrade were 276.57 max power and 283.02 max torgue, with Tritecta installed its now 304.29 max power and 326.31 max torque.
I though this thing was a monster before, but its just plain inSSane.
During the install Vince adjusted the GM tune for a better power band to match the stealth tune so it pull through the whole rpm range, you'll see when I'm able to post the picture of the run, it runs at about 25 psi and doesn't drop much at all.
It'll be hard to wipe the grin off my face for a long time.

Thanks Vince, Trifecta Tune
