if u buy it from genuinesaab .. u can get the IC for 275$ and hot side for 125$ .. so youd pay 400$ vs the 795$ at ZZP ..

then get the DP and youd be rolling quicker n cooler :)

zzp black friday......for those that don't know they post up an item and price on facebook and the first person to call in and buy it gets it at that price.

while a great way to get deals, you aren't guaranteed anything

Thanks for the heads up guys

Is the intercooler and the hotsided IC pipe from genuinesaab the same as ZZP's?

Also....is it a very big job to change out the downpipe? Would I be better off taking it to a shop to bolt the new downpipe on?

the genuisesaab hotside pipe is very similar to the zzp piece from what i have seen of it. definitely use tbolt clamps whatever you do. the ic requires removing the bumper which takes about 2 minutes and is very easy to install. the downpipe is a biaaatch the bolts are just hard to get to. but it's not that bad and well worth it. dp would probably be a lot easier with a lift cause it gets a little cramped under the car as far back as you have to go under it. but i rarely pay someone to do something that i can do myself...just me

^^^^^this versus the standard worm drive clamps that are commonly used....like the one that connects the airbox and the intake pipe. you just can't get the torque and clamping force out of the worm drive clamps that is necessary for holding the pipes at high boost pressures.

thanks for the picture rodney! Where can I get these clamps, what size, and how many will I need? Will I need them for the intercooler swap too?

The sabb needs a little adjustment to the mounts that hold the aircondtioning requires large pair if needle nose. Here is the Readers Digest version. If I can do it it's not too tough.
