Smile Trifecta Tune

Just wanted to give my thoughts on the Trifecta Tune and can only sum it up to damn this car is fast I’ve got the dual tune and really like to have the choice on when I want it on or off. I’ve got the trigger set off the cruise button. I did have the trigger set on in competition mode and Vince changed it for me and it's much nicer It really woke the car up and it’s pushing the boost to about 26-27 psi I would like to thank Vince for his help. He's got himself a great tune for the LNF that packs a punch and his service is top notch and was great to deal with

What kind of HP do you think you're getting with the tune on top of the stage kit?

Not sure I'd guess 20-30hp and 40-50tq It really made a difference. I'd like to get it on a dyno soon I'm guessing the cars close to about 300hp and 350tq to the wheels right now based off the butt dyno

I'm getting very close to purchasing the Trifecta Stealth tune. One advantage of having it on/off through the cruise control, vs the Competition Mode, would be the fact that the Competition Mode disables the stability control. Since I want the stability control to be on, this appeals to me. This would also allow me to have the tune active for an extended period (without sacrificing the stability control) to determine its effects on mpg.

How do you find the response from 1500-2500 rpm? Improved much?

Thought about doing this next spring (after I get a few mods) and using the cruise control as well. I wish he would have made it so you could turn the traction control to off to turn on the Trifecta tune (as a option), as I never use traction on unless its wet out, in which case I wouldn't want the power anyways. I'm also going to get boost limited in first gear on my tune to 7-10 psi so I can get traction out of first.

Keep us updated on the tune, you will be the first person I pm next year to see how the Trifecta tune is working out over the GM tune before I get mine. I would think it should work perfect as Vince bought a HHR SS for a platform vehicle to work off of, good for us

To tell you the truth Don't know I run thru that range pretty quick unless in in 5th

Mine is limited to around 7psi in first also works great then you hit second better hold on From what I can tell as long as I have cruise off I can run the tune with traction on, off, competition mode or with ESC off so many choices

Does this lend new meaning to the term torque steer?

The Trifecta adds around 15-20HP Plus when added on top of the GM Stage tune. Vince has been working with the SS Auto Tune.
