Funny but he said he got that moniker when in Calif. Just seems to fit now that he lives up here.The flames look great in person. My neighbor is a realflame guy trained under mike. Puts flame on any thing that will sit still long enough,so we have discussed it in blue/white. I use mine for work is what holds me back.Rainman says Vince can set it up where the power come on gradual so the hookup is easier and predictable,so I will be doing it soon can always add the LSD if need later.

OK--the Trifecta Budget Tune has been installed and seat time duly logged...Here's my verdict:

*It's not the easiest to install via cable and a borrrowed laptop. Didn't initially get my customized data file, so that was the cause of the early confusion. Overall, though, installation not a big problem.

*I'm not feeling a whole lot of difference with partial throttle applications. Feels pretty much the same when you're out of the boost.

*When you really dip into the throttle the boost comes on big time--20+ psi--in any gear. Hold on my friends!

*I'm playing a lot now, of course, but average mpg seems a bit less...

*Bottom line: the car moves a lot better when pushed, feels about the same when I putter around. Don't know exacly what Vince does--except for the 24psi max boost--but throttle mapping and off boost response feel pretty much the same. It's a nice rush though, well worth the modest investment.
