Anything can be done for the right price. You'd need all the piping, manifold, turbo and probably the ecm. I'm sure there's more but that would be bare minimum if I had to guess.

Watch E bay and some of the salvage places. There are a few in Michigan that have parted out new SS that were damaged in shipping and sold tires and wheel as a set for a good price.

It would be cheaper and safer to buy a SS and sell your 07. To start you have the wrong engine. The 2.0 is much changed over the 2.2 and 2.4. Things like different castings for the block and head for strength, Forged rods and special pistons. Sodium valves and more. Then you get into the turbo gear that is not cheap. But dont forget the computer and wiring to make it work.

Then how good are you at bolting it all up and then wiring it to make it work? Odds are if you have no turbo experience it may never work as you plan.

IF something goes wrong could you figure it out and fix it yourself? You may not even find many shops that would work on it for you as they will not want to get involves.

There have been some add on Turbo kits for the stock HHR non turbo. They are very mild and no where as powerful nor as strong as a SS.

Like I said I would look for a low mileage used SS and just do it right. You would even get a warrantry on it.
