2.2 Headers/pipe

Ive been looking through some old posts but havent really got a final answer yet to this so hopefully bringing this up again will shed some light..
but Im wondering what is a good Header for the 2.2?? would it have to be tuned or just a straight swap? how bout the front pipe (downpipe) also? are all pipes the same or do each have a different "smog" legality for drive clean test etc.
thanks

I just ordered ZZ Performance's Full Length Header, CAT mid pipe and 3" exhaust. They have not been installed, nor have I received them yet.

ZZP has made a downpipe that is off-road, and one that is a high flow CAT.

Tuned- I can't answer that.

There are short headers that replace the exhaust manifold, but then there is little benefit. Zzp also replaces the downpipe, but without a tune the O2 sensor may read incorrectly. They get around that by offering an option for an extended sensor mount, it has worked well for me. They also offer a wideband mount if you do go for a tune.
