Cant find parts anywhere!
sadly enough ive come to realize that it is easier to part the red sea.. then find any performance part for the 2.2l... quite frustrated, zzp offers cam n head sets for the 2.0 and the 2.4 no 2.2. only thing ive found is a supercharger kit.. does anyone know of a site or shop that sells parts for 2.2l? been all over google.. no luck...

Have you read anything about the 2.2l on the Cobalt forums? There's tons of info on there that'll help you be able to decide on what you can and can't do with the 2.2l and where the parts are u need to get. The 2.2's have been built n/a, turbo and sc/'d along with various nitrous set ups, just on a cobalt, not a HHR.

Oh and since you didn't mention "cold" air intake, the HHR is a different setup than the cobalt if you were wondering
edit: and you should be able to upgrade to the LE5(2.4l) intake manifold with out to much of an issue

there's lots of stuff for the 2.2L, i guess it really depends on what you're looking for. As you said there is the s/c add-on, i would suggest getting the airaid intake instead of the cgs..cgs seems to only suck hot air back into engine but its your call...cat-back magnaflow or borla exhaust will add more power, headers etc. Are you looking for suspension/steering upgrades or just engine?

there was another post on here awhile back and it showed the airaid better than the cgs, so i dont know anymore lol. all i know is that i have more power and roar from my engine with the airaid

If people are worried about the CGS taking in "hot" air, then why don't you pull the filter off, attach a flexible hose or tube and stick it in the fenderwell, then add a short piece of pipe to the flex hose and attach the filter to it. You then have your CGS intake taking in "cold" air..... It's really not that hard to get a CGS or AirRaid to take in "cold" air....
