I had a friend that bought a new Mercedes and it had a noise that drove my friend nuts. It keep taking it back and when the service manager told him it was withen tolerance he traded it off for a Lexus. So I guess what I'm saying is nothing is perfect.

See ya down the road

I was planning to take mine in for the same issue, but now it's warmer and there's no noise for them to diagnose...The transmission now shifts much easier, the syncros baulk a little when the oil is cold. Still a host more rattles in the interior trim and headlining too.

My dealer replaced many parts looking for the source. Finally installed new sway bar bushings (the cheapest, easiest part they replaced), noise went away. Might be worth a shot since they are pretty cheap and easy...
