Intake question

Does anyone that has the CGS intake on theirs hear it tapping on anything when going over bumps or during start up? When I first installed it, I could hear the filter tapping on the washer fluid reservoir when I'd hit a bump or when I was sitting somewhere with my car in drive. What have you done to fix this, or did you just get used to it after a while?

check the scerw that goes into the block for support. when installed mine the intake was still alittle loose and not tight. I put a washer and bam easy fix. the intake is nice and still cgs said the big screw is for the 2.2 and the shorter scerw was for the 2.4 I have a 2.2 and the short scerw stopped before the intake was tight down. it's not the filter tapping it's the intake tube it's really close to the washer holder. make sure the filter sits up high and put your hand under the filter and make sure the filter is not sitting on the motor mount. witch this will make a hole into the filter.

I've checked it a few times and it always seems tight. I'm not sure whether its the long or short screw. I bought the intake off a member here

The noise is the back edge of the filter hitting the washer fluid reservoir

Two things.
1.The left side of the intake tube were the bend is just above the filter will vibrate against the the shock tower or fluid bottle on start up and when you get hard on the gas. I bent the back brace a little to get the intake a little more upright to give it more clearance and also I put a small foam pad between them to stop the noise.
2. The filter is just a little to large for the area it sits in. I changed mine out to a K&N one.(part #SN-2540) It is a little smaller and angled for a perfect fit.
