this only works at WOT applications so the draw is no big deal

Umm..rpms don't matter with an alternator..it peaks out at low RPM, like 2k.Higher rpms won't make it any easier on the system...

Tom, is the motor/electronics the same on the 2.2L between the 2009 & 2010? I went to the site and started reading, the last year that is mentioned for any supported vehicle is 2009. So i am guessing(not assuming) that either the sight has not been updated for 2010 OR they have not tested on any 2010's yet.

FYI, I dont see it brought up, but under the cobalt "drivtrain" on our site we carry the B&M shift + for those members with an automatic transmission. This is a universal part, wiring should be the same as the cobalts, so if you click the link you will see how it is installed (link on the product page on our site)
