Horsepower and Torque
General rule of thumb.
Less back pressure = more horsepower, less torque, more noise.
Greater back pressure = less horsepower, more torque, less noise.
Results will vary on different RPM's.

Aftermarket magnaflow from any of supporting vendors is cheaper than the GMPP exhaust. I was considering ordering this from the dealer, but my chevy dealer's web site marked it up to almost 800 dollars and over $1000 installed what a ripoff.

same exhaust, but it could be on the 2.2 or 2.4 engine, so it might sound different.

i found this one on youtube its a ls cobalt with 2.2 engine and gmpp exhaust so i suppose it will sound like this.
