i dont care really about HP im sure once i get the GMPP intake it will be a good combination. I just really wanted a little more sound but not too ricey and a stainless exhaust. My car is a cruiser car its not my old chevelle so im not wooried about big HP numbers.

I'm realy thinking of getting my dealer to put the exaust and intake on my 08 next time that I'm in for service. Can you give us a review here? Louder? throatier? Did it come with a new tip? or did you use your old one?
Thanks,

I was the first to install an IMCO and found it only by mistake. I normally run magnaflow on my cars but this time I couldn't hear the radio with it and there was no performance gains. I tried another and it was the same, so finally my exhaust guy threw on an IMCO and i was like WOW! Keep in mind this is a muffler only mod. I would venture to say that by now someone has come up with a cat back, but for me I'm still a little skeptical first of all because the noise and second I'm not sure if they will provide as good an increase as the IMCO for the $$. I know everybody is still yelling about dyno results but for 50$ I'm happy.

I am reviving an old thread. I have the SS and there has been talk of a GMPP exhaust making it to the HHR SS...there's one for the HHR, Cobalt, and Cobalt SS...and all are different in piping. I've thought about getting Hahn, but I wouldn't mind holding on to the warranty as best as possible.
I never saw the numbers in here, but FYI from a cobalt thread I read, he baselined dyno and did one after bolt-on and got 12hp at the wheel. That's pretty good and if you went the tour route, supposedly there's no power loss, just a more stock note.
One thing I found odd with the cobalt was 2-1/4 inches vs. 3. I wasn't sure if that was the case across the board. I didn't see anyone mention diameter in this thread. My guess is they're all 2-1/4.
The fact they're made by Borla is interesting, definitely a huge bump in legitimacy.
