gmpp cold air intake

Has anyone tried gmpp cai on the 06 2.4? Im ready to buy and want to make sure it will work. Crate engine depot has them for 378.00 plus 21.00 shipping. Any other suggestions for better price?

Another member - chadpuska - I think he had one installed. It's pricier than other aftermaket CAI's but it is a GM product. K/N has a simular product (airtube w/enclosed box + cold air ducting). I like the idea of both since they do allow cold air via the front wheel well. Whereas the other CAI's leave the filter exposed to underhood engine heat.

You should PM him or maybe he'll chime in if he's online

I've got one...looks cool but not much gain for all the $$$

I've also found that my local dealer will match any online GM price you can find. Seems like a better idea to buy it from your local dealer and have it next day with no shipping.

Thanks again for the replies i have ordered it from crate depot. As for ordering from the chevy dealer, the one thats 10 minutes away i wont deal with. Thats a long story but i wont spend my money there.
I did consider the k&n again as it was mentioned earlier but in the end the looks and being made by gm won out.
