Good to know, and one less worry. Thanks for clearing that up

He said that the factory system has small pinholes in the muffler to release the condensation, and that the aftermarket ones do not and that is why they dont last.
I disagree with the mechanics comments...
I have a Gibson cat back on my 01 Tahoe still looks as new the day I installed it and it is not the stainless one.
Neither do my flowmasters on my 70 Chevelle which are 12 years old now
and do not have drains.
I agree with SoCal- as you drive it the condensation dries up quickly

There currently is no group buy - the person who posted this thread was only wishing! We already have the lowest price on the 'net for Gibson Exhausts (including shipping).

SoCAL.
I've e-mailed Gibson requesting detailed info... such as dyno-results and/or a sound clip. No response to date (over a week)!?!?
I requested this info for several reasons- 1.) I'm curious if they can validate their claims of power increase, 2.) I want to avoid the Ricer Buzzzzzz while going down the road, 3.) There's NO info on the HHR exhaust they offer on their web-site!!!?
Seeing how you may have an 'IN' with them, AND that we seemingly have a captive market (HHR-specific), is their any way you can request this info and post as a sticky (or on your site)? OR- should everyone thats interested e-mail Gibson direct (flood them with e-mails to show demand) until we get what we're looking for?????
Don't get me wrong- I believe Gibson is a solid company turning out quality performance parts (at a premium).... however, I'm already UNIMPRESSED with their customer-service due to NO RESPONSE WHAT-SO-EVER!!!!
Spring's breaking in Michigan and I want to begin modding my hurse but DONT want to waste money on junk parts!!!!

Scoot - I've been asking them for this info for months.
Trust me - it's like pulling teeth.
