Wink HHR Breathes now

I've been testing out a header and high flow cat downpipe for my
HHR 2.4, automatic. (Note-- I already have the ECM tuning also)

I have recieved no engine check lights, no leaks, just more performance torque.

Heres the information....
Let the thread discussion begin...

"I have recieved no engine check lights, no leaks, just more performance torque."

Still waiting on test results to confirm any actual gains...

As stated previously; all the cat-backs we have tested (including yours), have lost power, and just made more noise.

thats funny yea more flow means less power? also your test you can keep them i like real feed back from people and TEST PROVEN with dyno charts like CA has if you go to their site. They made 10hp on a stock engine, of course a different muffler is going to make a different noise.

Has anyone tried or checked out the lnaZma Hyper Voltage System? I don't see how this really works. http://www.eautoworks.com/html/home-...&Search=Search

Yup, several posts have disappeared. I doubt adding a new header and down pipe made hvrod lose any power. Logic would tell you otherwise. If anything he might have lost some low end power but gained some high end power. I also think a cat-back is going to add more power than a cheap muffler. I'm 100% sure he gained power with a header, down pipe, intake, cat-back and tune. That is like the common performance package for a modern vehicle. Why do some people seem to think the Ecotec is some magical new engine that defies all rules that apply to any other engine and tradition logic on adding power. The Ecotec has been around in various forms since the late 70's but not under the name Ecotec. GM started using the Ecotec name in 2000 on the modern generation of Ecotec engines.
