hi HHR fans I have a 2008 2 LT fully loaded with heated leather seats 6 cd in dash sunroof and automatic, chrome pkg . roof rails. I am loving the car so far I drive on hilly terrian mostly city driving not too fast not too slow about 23 mpg so far but i have not got it on a highway trip so far. Car has 2000 miles so far. this is about chevy no 10 for me my other truck is a 2007 Tahoe i use it for long trips gets about 16 city and 20 hwy with a 5.3. the hhr is not a tahoe but it cost about half as much a great car for running errands or short commutes the HHR looks great it is black. another thing people must consider is payments on the hhr are very small compared to a larger truck which is sometimes as important as mileage. Enjoy your great little car!

MY mileage has improved somewhat with driving more spirited. Im on track to getting 16MPG woooohoooo. Fontana Motorsports ( Rory ) had mentioned that anything less than 20's indicates something wrong and I am planning a trip to the dealer to get her checked out as soon as I hit 2000 miles on the car.
