I can do you one better. As very few of you know I design alternator and crank pulleys for cavaliers, aleros, grand ams, sunfires, HHR , malibu's, sunbirds, and others.

To the best of my knowlege from 95-06 all LD9, LN2, 2.2 ecotecs share the same alternator pulley. All are 5 ribbed pulleys that take 5K belts. Also I have not proven yet, but I think all 4.3L vortecs have the same alternator pulley as well. REF.

For the link you posted you will need a longer belt. That pulley was designed to be used in comination with an underdrive pulley.

Your looking for a after maket pulley I would not change the pulley you will have a problem charging your battery. Just so you know there is not a aftermarket alt. I heard it was wired as a sqaure and not a circle so you can not get a high output alt.

Only thing you would have to worry about with the alternator pulley would be if you had a major system. These have been used for a long time. The only time your alternator wouldn't make much power is at idle. I would suggest using the AEM pulley in conjunction with a crank pulley.

The one you posted is the right one for the Eco's. -md- HHR was just saying you would need to get an underdrive pulley AND the alternator pulley you listed to use the stock belt. The underdrive is smaller and alt one is a little bigger but also lightweight so you can keep the stock belt and not have to worry about sizing issues.
