$3000 seems awful high for a system you have to fabricate peices to make it fit and doesn't come with all you need!

Universal Turbo Systems require fabrication and do NOT include intake or exhaust tubing, fuel management or tuning.

So you’re basically spending $3000 for just a turbo and an oil pump? No plumbing, header, fuel injectors, fuel pump, innercooler, tune, or anything for that matter?

this is true but who makes a turbo for the hhr? most turbos for a complete system avg. 5Grand to start. the point i was trying to make is we can put one in our hhr's yes 3G's is a starting point but at least it isnt 5g's to start. so let me say this i have a G35 coupe with a TT the greddy twin turbo was 6 grand plus a few more to get everything i need for the install bottom line 12G's for TT plus install so if i can drop a turbo in for 6 g's i think thats a good deal to make my HHr have a lot more ponies

The problem isn't a turbo GUYS! we can use a manifold off the 2003+ 9-3 Saab's the turbo is not the problem at all it is the tunning, Hann is VERY VERY close to their turbo being done for the 5spd and automatic and should be around 3,500-4gs with a map for tunning, I once said the 2.2L have the VVT i WAS WRONG, a 2.2L can be turbo'd very easly if they know what they are doing. i just wonder how many of us actually go to the cobaltss.net site? because that is where we are going to get most of up-to-date and correct infomation http://cobaltss.net/forums/showthread.php?t=33808

I can't justify the price of a turbo anyway, not to mention the voiding of the warranty.
