3rd 2008 in a week!

I finally had a camera available when I spotted another 2008 parked near me today. They all appear to be rentals, 2 had National car rental license plate frames. Todays had an Enterprise frame. One of the 08's was the new grey color. I couldn't tell if it was metallic or not but it was darker than the old DSM color. I like the color matched door handles and beauty bar, but on the black one today it needs something to breakup the color down the side like a pinstripe at least. The wheels are ok but would look better polished. So if the 08's are out the 07's are done.

Does anyone know how many HHR's have been built so far?

I have driven 2 of the National Car 2008 HHR rentals so far..
I drove a National on July 16th. The dealers should be getting them soon. The rental companies got the first ones and I see that HHR is a LT also, my current rental is a 2LT. Had a 1LT the first time.

Well, do you mean to tell me I could have my "beauty bar" and mirrors paint-matched and have a '08?

What does the front grill look like? Is it chrome, satin, or painted black? Painting the beauty bar and door handles to match the body color is something done by almost every other manufacturer. It looks good in black but I'd have to see other colors to determine if I like them or not.

Seen any '08 Panels? Mine should be here in a week or two...

I'm getting excited now. This is my first glimpse of any '08's so far.
