I had thought about going the 59 Caddy lites route with my HHR but came to the conclusion they wouldn't look right. My plans were to use the stock housings (remove the lens first), but too much of the Caddy lites stuck out for my taste. I'm looking at trying 58 Olds taillights with spider LED's. Frenched in would be the way to go. I would also go with the dual light set up.

On my Harley I'm using an old front fender for a rear fender with internal fender struts, a pair of 59 Caddy taillights and all of the fender trim. (Sorry for the thread drift.)

 

thanks for all the encouragement, i was actually expecting a little negative feedback and yeah, i'll probly end up installing another set. as is, they're a little out of place and plain... almost like i didn't think things through ( cus i didn't ). but when i get another day off in a couple months, maybe i'l get around to finishing it up. thanks again, and i'm always open for suggestions
- cosmic - got any pics of the Harley? i'd like to check that out
