Just washed my HHR today and on the way home it came down so hard and fast that the street drains couldn't keep up. Couldn't even see the roads. Well I'll have to wash it at work tomorrow.

I feel your pain Grumpee. When I got done putting the CGS in today, I took my HHR to wash it from rain over the weekend. Took it a couple places to show off my handiwork...and lo and behold, on the way home it started pouring down rain. So much for wash job...but a least a few people got to see it while it was clean.

After the rain was over, there I am out there toweling it down again. I'm sure my boyfriends next door neighbor thinks I'm some sort of nut doing that when there were still rain clouds in the sky. Lucked out though and no more rain.

I would not mind a dirty car if we got some rain. That is how bad we need some real rain. Only thing we have been getting is enough to spot the car about 2-5 minutes worth and lots of dust blowing. If you ask me that looks worst than a heavy down pour.
