If those pushpins are the same as the ones I had to remove to install the mudflaps, I ended up having to cut mine off (didn't need them for the mudflaps anyway).

I have arthritis in my hands so my hand strength is not that great.

I bought some at the dealership just in case I needed them.

 

I sent them another e-mail with what you said about not having the ones for the HHR. Most likely won't hear anything until Monday.

 

Yeah, a screwdriver gets the pushpins out easily. They are still going strong too, I've had them in my Yukon for over 2 years now and still working too!!

 

I work at a autoparts store and I have not been able to find the Silverstar Ultras for our cars yet either. If you want a nice white headlight beam but want it to look blueish when being looked at then I'd suggest gong to your nearest import performance place ( you know he place where all the hondas hang out with their loud music and fart can mufflers)
I know alot of honda guys that are drilling a small hole into the rear of the headlamp assembly and installing a blue L.E.D bulb somewhere to the side of the headlight bulb. This does not take away from the bright white light you can get from useing the standard silverstar bulbs, but does light up the inside of the headlights with a strong blue tint, looks pretty neat>

 

I had something like that on a Ranger i had back in hs, look awesome parked at night with the blue head lights lit up but it was really soft.

 

I wasnt talking about just replacing the bulbs. There's a site out there that will modify your housing to house real HIDs. If you're interested in doing a DIY project check out www.hidplanet.com.
