Easiest route: Nightshades spraypaint.
Most Expensive route: Fall/Premier edition headlights.

I don't know if it's legal but I never got in to any trouble with mine and I would commute from Bellevue to Columbus for work, I have clears in again now though, some Jackass busted my driver side out

easiest route: tinted films you can apply to the lights.
hardest (and probably most expensive) route: Taking your current headlights apart, painting the inside, reassembling them all.

Some member have done it, there is a write-up on here too with details how.

I picked it up at advance auto but after reading around I found you need to clear coat them as well. I may return it and go the film route just in case I get pulled over for it. Then at least I can pretty easily remove the tint.

Fall edition head lights are legal in every state of the Untied States

Night shades could get you a ticket, if the officer wants to be a *****.

I'm in the process of painting the inside of a set. felt I could be more creative

I saw nothing in the Ohio Codes that says you can not tint.

Here is a Link to a great website (IMO) to look up all States Codes:

Ohio Codes: 4513. Traffic Laws - Equipment; Loads:

Nite-shades then clear coated. $ 20.00 or so and a few hours of your time.
I would say mine are not legal , However i think If your over 40 you'll be all right. If your in your 20's you may be asking for a ticket. I have actually been complimented by a few law inforcement officers at gas stations, and have been waiting for one of them to say , Hey wait a minute , Whats with those headlights. But it has'nt happen in almost 1 year . But i do run with fogs on 100 % of the time, KNOCKING ON WOOD NOW.
