Calipers / Wheels

Just curious what everyone's doing with the front brake calipers after they upgrade their wheels. Though about painting them black, but looking for other options. I've seen some caliper covers but nothing that looks right.

I want to do mine in gold but am having a difficult time locating gold caliper paint.

Plenty of red, blue, and black out there though...

I have a silver Duplicolor caliper painting kit for my HHR. I'm just waiting for the snow to go away so I can get them painted. I'm going paint the drums also. G2 makes a gold brake caliper paint kit SoCal, but I don't know what auto parts stores in your area carry their paints. You can always look online.

Paint

I think you guys are going little overboard. Rust-O-Leum makes all kinds of colors that will work. My Taurus has a V-6, so, it has larger brakes that probably heat up as much or more. My red calipers look good through my spoked wheels. The drums are blue.

Anybody know the part number for glow in the dark green caliper paint? Oh yeah, and a photo shop of a caliper set up that has neon lights when you apply the brakes would be great!

It's not that much for a caliper painting kit and it not only includes ceramic high heat paint but everything necessary (brush, tape, cleaner) to get good results.

Regardless of what paint you use, the pad dust will get on them, so, you'll have to keep after them. It's not a smooth surface, so, getting the dirt out isn't easy.

CH, is one kit enough to do drums and calipers or would you need two kits?
