Well, I sure appreciate all your opinions!! I just got an email from Bob saying they do fit and are what I ordered so I do not get my money back. He said no returns on custom parts. I would agree with that if he had given me the RIGHT custom parts.

Here is Bob's reply to me..... Hi Bob,
Yes.....
> I asked for opinions on the HHR network and all have said these do
> not fit an HHR.
That means nothing to us. This is the way we have done the vent visors
for the PT and HHR for years.
We are a custom shop and you had me create a custom set for you, plus
painted and with chrome extra.
Nobody offers that. Why?, because it was a *special order* request that
was *the way only you want them*.
> I would either like in channel and a refund for the difference
We do not sell in channel visors....sorry.
> or just my money back.
No way. Custom parts are non-refundable...Please go here and read our
policies again on the website.

Send the seller the pictures that you posted here. They CLEARLY show that those do not fit your car. Good luck, I hope you can get this resolved quickly and get your money back.

IndyRetroGal...

Wow... Sorry to hear that you purchased from them... They have been a problem with poor quality products and even poorer quality service for many years. Just ask anyone here in the HHR community or anyone in the PT Cruiser community. Problems since 2001.

I would highly recommend sticking with the list of supporting venors listed at the top of these forums for quality accessories, products and service.

I love my in-channel vent visors and fit perfect for the HHR. Purchased from one of our supporting vendors from this website. They promise to send parts that actually fit the HHR.

If you are looking for any other accessories or services, I would suggest asking everyone here who has first hand experience with various products and vendors.

Most vendors charge about $60.00 for a set of 4 (that fit perfect). Did you say you paid over $200 for those things?

The pictures you posted are DEFINITELY NOT designed for the HHR. Check out some of the pictures from others who have the in-channel and exterior mounted vent visors.

Best of luck on getting any satisfaction from California Cruisers (aka: SoCal Cruisers)...

Here is a thread where "Daverb" took a few pictures that clearly show the way the real "HHR Vent Visors" should fit on your HHR.

He has the exterior attached Vent Visors like you should have been sent.

https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/appearance-modifications-discussions-6/liquid-glass-shine-17774/

They should contour around the window and either stop at the edges of the window or tuck into the window channel.

Don't look a thing like the shape of the ones sent to you from California Cruisers (aka SoCal Cruisers). They must have been some left over vent visors off a Kenworth Truck hoping you wouldn't notice...
