Thanks all for being so supportive! I did read on here that So Cal had a bad rep but that was after I had ordered them and oh boy did I get sick to my stomach when I read that. I was still hoping though but when I got them there it was again! lol ;0) I did use my bank card and called them for a chargeback. I think I will be able to get that accomplished and they also cancelled my card since he has that number. What a pain in the azz.

GOOD JOB!!!

Sorry to hear you have to go through all that and cancel your card but better safe than sorry.

I could understand their policy if they sent you the actual product that you ordered that fit your HHR but no refund on the wrong product that is not even made to fit an HHR? That is awful.... Hope all works out for you.

This guy has been ripping people off for years, and here's a thread that's actually been sticky'd in the General Discussion area:

https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/general-hhr-4/california-cruisers-aka-abc-designs-buyer-beware-8316/

Hope everything turns out well for you. Don't take any crap from him on this "custom order" thing. He screwed up, the parts ordered do not match the car and do not conform to your expectations, he has to give you a refund. As long as you don't go through your credit card company, he's gonna keep jerking you around.

I'm very sorry to hear about folks bad experiences with him. I'm also greatful that you all have shared them with us. I was one day from making a purchase from him, and then read these posts. Even though he is local to me, I would rather deal with those who are reliable and trustworthy.

Thanks again.

Mark

Here is what a set of AVS in-channel vent visors look like.

These are the $65 visors sold by HHR Boutique. If I had my HHR now, I could show a how to. Still waiting on factory to build it. As you slide the visor into the channel you pull the red tape off. You then close your windows for a day to let them seat.
