Zaino period! I believe you do have to order over the web. I will take an updated pic of mine after I complete the final steps. Also, for us unfortunates of the northern salt states (winter) driving, you almost have no choice but to go through a car wash, especially for the underbody, it sucks, but if you don't, well, it is definitely not pretty.

Personally, I use Meguire's Gold Glass car wash and Polish, NXT detailing Spray, for the body, and Eagle's wheel wax and glass cleaner for the rest. There's a thick tire gel I use for the sidewalls, but I don't remember who makes it, I'll have a look later.

I have the tire well full of Meguiar's products and I have used Meguiars for over thirty years, on my own stuff as well as the choice for customers' cars when I had bodyshops. I do love Stoner products too, their Invisible Glass aerosol glass cleaner is fantastic. i am like SoCal and use Gold Class and Quick Detailer for my black...

I'm a little peeved today. I went to the carwash to clean off the dust and bugs this morning.... Not the automatic but the hand wash with the high pressure hose. I let the car air dry down the highway figuring I was going to wash and detail it this weekend anyway and this was just a quickie. I get home and look the car over. There are still cat prints from the neighborhood strays visible on the hood and not all the bug goo came off the winshield. I'm going to Wal-Mart on Saturday and getting a couple of hoses. Then I'm off to one of the auto shops to get some good cleaning products and do it up right.

I swear, if one more cat walks on my car, I'm gonna wring it's fuzzy neck.

I also use Zaino, which was suggested to me for my Black Suburban by other GM truck owners on a forum.

One of my pet peeves was washing and drying the car only to have water blow out from a crevice and dry in a long drip down the side of the car. I use an electric leaf blower to blow the water off the car and out of the crevices.
