Chevrolet Scripts...

Just ordered 2 of these from www.danchuk.com this afternoon. They're reproduction, but that doesn't matter.

Got them today. I need to do some filing to remove the mounting posts on them (4 on each script). What size of 3M tape is the smallest, so I can go into the store somewhat informed?

After 2 tries (yes, I aligned the script with the bottom of the hood the first time, making it unlevel), me thinks' me got it!

I like them.

Looks very nice! I bought stickers off of eBay, but after seeing actual emblems like yours, I'm starting to wonder if that's the route I should go.

Dumb question, but where do you get 3M tape?

I picked mine up at Pep Boys ('Magic Mounts' Molding Tape, part number 3505). We had the decals as well, but one was removed when we had body work... the real thing is always the best!

Very nice. This is one of the few exterior "add-ons" that I was considering. I've seen a couple of HHRs with similar scripts, some original Chevy scripts. Yours looks terrific. I am certainly going to look into these.
