For a quick and easy way to remove bug bits....
Take a fabric softener sheet, wet it and rap it around a cleaning sponge to make it easier to hold and then wipe over the affected area. Rinse off. Works on windshields too.
The sheet doesn't scratch and what ever is in it dissolves the bug crap. I heard about this on the radio one day and tried it during love bug season. Excellent results.

OKay so i just finished cleaning my HHR and it still looks dirty as hell!!! And its because of those damn bug splatters!!! Any idea on how to clean them off? Im using the mrClean car wash soap and filter system to clean and it does an amazing job but nothing I use seems to get the bugs off and Im afraid that if they stay too long its going to ruin the paint or become 1 with it
