I agree Deb they are a lil pricey but no one else at this point is producing that type of older looking mag for the hhr and compared to the 600-1000 dollars a wheel that the newer style 20 inch and up wheels are goin for i guess 300 is about a mid range price for them?? I`m gonna be sellin my old work truck for around 2500 so while i have the cash what the heck it is my new toy after all!!!

Boyd does a lot of one off stuff, but the last I heard was he was no longer making his wheels in house. He "whored" his name out I guess you could say. Still has to have his stamp of approval though.
One thing to remember folks, they might be $1200, but they probably weigh a lot less then most any aftermarket 17" wheel.
A friend of mine had stock 20's on his Dodge ram that weighed in at around 90lbs each with tires. He now has 24" Boyd Coddington Dicatators that weigh in at 15lbs less. Keep in mind, that's a much wider tire on that rim too.

All Boyd Coddington wheels are made to order, they don't stock any completed wheels, so anything you order would be custom made. As far as the whoring out the name, that is not exactly true. The wheel division ownership changed (Boyd didn't have ownership of that before either), they changed facilities, but use the same materials, machines, and same people building the wheels as before.
We've been a Boyd Coddington dealer for several years and can get you a really good price on those Smoothie II's, even lower than what they quote direct. Drop me a message if you are interested.
