ok gang.... heres how my 3rd brake light overlay was done.
1) Carefully remove the plastic 3rd brake light cover. It's held by 4 clips. (there are better instructions on how to remove that somewhere on this forum)
2) I created a template on my computer. Tried all the fonts I had and made my selection. (I suggest you use a THICK font and mess with the character spacing etc etc to get it to look just right. ...and make practice prints on regular paper until your ready for your final selection print)
3) printed that template onto address label paper. (thats the only sticker type paper I had)
4) Applied that template sticker the black vinyl sticker scraps pieces I bought at a graphics shop.
5) Mr Bumpstops used an exacto knife to cut out the letters.
(we messed up the first time trying this... trying to figure which way to do either set of stikers, if not set up right, it's all bassackwards! LOL, you may end up spelling something wrong, but it will look correct in your rearview mirror)
6) Applied the overlay on the inside of the window... presto.... all done!
I hope that helps....![Big Grin](https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
Mr Bumpstops just woke up when I took this picture... hope Smitty likes the added nipplage shot!
