Dent Removal

I was wondering if anyone here has ever went to a "dent removal" place. I have about 8-10 relatively small dents (all smaller than 2-3" in diameter, not very deep at all). At first, I thought, "Oh, it's just a car, it's just gonna get beat up anyway." But now, the more I notice the dents, the more they bug me. Most of the dents are on my hood, so I originally was just going to get a new hood, but then the other day someone suggested going to get the dents taken out versus buying a new hood. I'm tempted, but I'm not sure if I want to spend the money on it, especially if its expensive. Does anyone have an idea roughly how much this might cost? I know its probably different depending on where you go, but I'm wondering if anyone can give me a general price range for this? Thanks

I got quotes for PDR for the car. Was quoted around $80-100 per panel and with multiple on the hood $125-250+ for the hood.

It should be much cheaper than getting a new hood, that's the idea behind it is saving money. But it will depend on the amount of damage of course.

I thought PDR just used dry ice to pop out the dents? Can't you get your own?

I've used this service and it is just amazing what they can do. I did some research on local forums to find out who did the best work in my town, and I was not disappointed. Several dents ran me about $150.

Im going to guess without seeing it, it will run around $200 or so. Depends on the damage. Its well worth it to keep your factory paint. Just make sure you get a tech that does quality work and you wont have a problem.

There is no dry ice in my tool bag. I hear that all the time but if it was that easy, everyone would do it.

I would've posted pictures, but when I took pictures, you couldn't really even tell that there were dents. I guess it just doesn't really show up on the camera. You can only really tell that there's dents in the hood when you look at it from the right angle. I'm going to try and take it to a couple different places this week to get estimates if I have the time. I'll let everyone know what I find out.
