depo headlamps

Are depo headlamps direct bolt one(meaning no modifications needed) I want to get a set but am leary if they or my hhr has to be modified in anyway to make them fit properly. I ran into this problem recently with door handles and dont want to go through it again with headlamps. any info on this subject would be great.

thanks,

Scott

Yeah, the are meant to be direct bolt on.
BUT, you have to remove the entire bumper cover to gain access.

About a month ago I bought a set of depo head lamps and the place does an install and test of HID lamps and turn signals too so all I had to do was bolt them in. As noted the hardest part was getting the bumper cover off as I did not want to hurt the paint. I did have to do some adjustment for vertical alignment but not too bad. I looked up the company and they are called "Ilovebodykits.com" and were great to deal with.

I don't know of anyone who does the LED's for our cars. I got my depo's a few weeks ago and first thing was to put them in the oven to take em apart. I want projectors and halo's. I have now painted the reflectors satin black, retrofit them for the projectors, and waiting for the halo's to come in. If someone does not make it, build it! It may be scary at first, but it's pretty easy to take them apart.
