Due to unfortunate mishap with Mike from SoCalHHR's having his condensor damaged , I think this needs to be brought to the top.

I did a Mr. Bumpstops grill. I got a gutter screen from Home Depot which was perfect for the project. I also decided to paint it glossy black for my tastes. For those of you that need to buy the nuts, the size is metric #8 x 1.25. I also over-engineered the project by making some plastic washers to hold the screen better at the holes, since I don't think that gutter screen is as strong as sat dish screen, and I don't have a desert to go looking for it.

Mike, this probably sounds dumb but is that mesh you bought metal or heavy guage plastic? It's hard to tell in the photo. Speaking of photos.....you and Mr. B look vaguely familiar.....like I've seen those mugs before.......at the Post Office!

It's aluminum, fairly sturdy. At $1.79 ea. I can make enough to last the life of this rig.

Mike

I also went to Home Depot yesterday and bought the same wire mesh and painted it black. I plan on installing it today behind the Carriage Woks Bumper Grille I installed earlier this week. Great pictures.
