2.4....big whoop. Find a way to drop a 454 in your HHR and maaaaybe I'll be impressed. Can't wait to see the new modifications.

i bet we can get our 2.4L in the mid 13's with very little work, for example, lighter fly wheel, tuning, intake, exhuast, gears, (does anyone know what gears we got?) n some weight reduction.

Here are some stock times posted by one of our members:

1/4 mile ET 16.79 @ 82 mph
1/8 mile ET 10.89 @ 70 mph
60 foot time 2.434
MPH 83
Reaction time .515

Calculating that out and using the weight of the HHR as 3150...you would need about 250 HP. 2.4 with a turbo would need a 7# boost.

I guess it's do-able, but expensive.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The chevrolet script is avaliable from the"FillingStation" part number SA76..
Its $5.00 each plus shipping, I bought two, to have a spare in case of a mishap in the carwash or a fender bender............
