I could go either way on it. I like the looks of it, but I like it without. Your car, your call. Just make sure it's what YOU want.

So you could only do it if there was a way to ensure that the headlights, fog lights, and driving lights are not on at the same time, or you find a way to make the fog lights amber.
Are there amber bulbs available?
I'd would rather have amber fog lights anyway...

As a side, I wish the HHR had stock round headlights-that would have looked more retro. The headlights as is are too modern for my tastes

You can get the 9140/9145 leds in amber.

You may want to put a brushguard and mount them on that. Or 'roo / bull bars. You could go 80's hi-lux and put them on the roof rack.
The higher the lights the more effective. What will you do with the OEM 'fogs'?

That's just what I'd do. To hell with the possibility that it may not pass safety inspection (I'd fail it right away) or that you could die in a head on collision because the oncoming driver is blinded by all that light, you'd look cool and most others would apparently think so as well. Maybe the lights should be red or blue while you're at it. Having an unsafe vehicle isn't YOUR problem after all, even if UHP doesn't impound it. Take the state safety inspection manual and throw it right out, the rules for everyone else's safety don't apply to you after all.

I think they would look ok. I don't see what the problem would be, since they won't be used much.

A quick trip down the Autobahn would change your minds about too many lights...but then, thats there not here.
And Pyro.. I know if you have elect mirrors that you have maybe repositioned them to as to help the other driver see better,,isn't that his intention anyways? LOL..gravelled.. M&M peanuts..ball bearings... too many stories, true... or not......
Gotta love when they come speeding up and then all of a sudden can't seem to get past the rear tandems..!
