Plan on doing this eventually. But isn't it black chrome in the light instead of a dark tint to the lens. Could be wrong and it could just be tint.

The cobalt ss, not sure if it is the sc or tc ones, come stock with tinted lens on the headlights. I wish they would have done this on the hhr ss.

Well done Kevin, I think the grille is the Center Piece, and the markers and the lights, complete the effect!

Anyone thinking of buying the fall edition headlights, beware that some still have the amber lens. The tinting is very mild and only noticeable when side by side with a non tinted version. GM had to keep it legal, so the tint was very faint. I had both at one time.

ya they do but it might just be the new ones. I work at a auto parts warehouse that buys used car parts to resell. We have the 3 largest headlight inventory in the US. We take apart and clean/fix and then sand and respray the headlights. We have a few but not many of the cobalt SS tinted lenses. It is a nice little touch that I wish the HHR SS had.

Also I think the Fall ed. headlights just look like they have the amber in them because the amber bulb is reflecting on the chrome. Also could be wrong on this.
